Last updated: April 2026. Dinora is a restaurant reservation management platform developed and operated by Versolix (Finland). This policy explains how we handle personal data processed through the Dinora service.
Guest booking data — collected when a guest submits a reservation: full name, phone number, email address, booking date and time, party size, table assignment, and any operational notes added by restaurant staff.
Restaurant account data — collected when a restaurant registers: business name, address, phone number, email address, and website.
Usage and system data — basic logs required for platform security, uptime monitoring, and debugging. No advertising or behavioural tracking is performed.
Guest data is used exclusively to manage reservations, send booking confirmation emails (all plans), send SMS confirmations (Standard and Premium plans), and deliver email or SMS reminders before the reservation (Standard and Premium plans). Restaurant account data is used to operate and maintain the account and communicate about the service.
We use the following sub-processors to deliver the service:
All processors are bound by data processing agreements and GDPR-compliant terms.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to any third party. Data is never used for advertising or shared beyond what is necessary to deliver the Dinora service.
Reservation and guest records are retained for as long as the restaurant account remains active. Upon account termination, data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period unless retention is required by applicable law.
Guests can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting the relevant restaurant directly, or by reaching us at the address below. Restaurants can manage and export their own guest data from the admin dashboard at any time.

Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern access to and use of the Dinora platform by restaurants, their administrators, and authorised staff. By using Dinora you agree to these terms.
Dinora provides a cloud-based reservation management platform including: a guest-facing online booking page, an admin dashboard for managing reservations and the guest database, booking rules and opening hours configuration, analytics and reporting tools, and automated email and/or SMS confirmations and reminders. Specific features depend on the subscribed plan:
The restaurant account holder is responsible for the security of their login credentials, the accuracy of reservation and guest data entered into the platform, and ensuring that any staff given access to the admin panel use it appropriately and in accordance with applicable law.
The restaurant is the Data Controller for guest booking information collected through Dinora. Restaurants must ensure they have a lawful basis for collecting and processing guest data, and must provide guests with appropriate notice of how their data is used.
You may not use Dinora to process data without a lawful basis, share login credentials with unauthorised parties, attempt to access or interfere with other accounts or platform infrastructure, or use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law including the GDPR.
Subscription fees are invoiced monthly. Versolix reserves the right to suspend access to the platform for overdue accounts after reasonable notice. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
We aim to provide reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or modify features at any time. Where possible, advance notice will be given for significant changes.
Dinora is provided as-is. Versolix is not liable for losses arising from missed reservations, notification delivery failures, or temporary service outages beyond our reasonable control.
Either party may terminate the subscription with reasonable notice. Upon termination, restaurant data can be exported from the admin dashboard before the account is closed.

Last updated: April 2026. Versolix operates Dinora in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679). This document describes how GDPR obligations apply to the Dinora platform.
Restaurant as Data Controller: Each restaurant using Dinora determines the purpose and means of processing guest booking data (name, phone, email, date, party size, notes). The restaurant is the Data Controller for that data and is responsible for ensuring a lawful basis for collection and for informing guests of how their data is used.
Versolix as Data Processor: Versolix processes guest booking data on behalf of the restaurant solely to operate the Dinora platform — storing reservations, delivering confirmation and reminder messages, and providing analytics. Versolix does not use guest data for any independent purpose.
Guest data is typically processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract — the reservation) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests — restaurant operations and communication). Restaurants are responsible for confirming the appropriate lawful basis for their specific use.
Versolix engages the following sub-processors to deliver the service. All are bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements:
Dinora applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, token-based authentication for admin access, and rate limiting to prevent unauthorised access attempts.
Under the GDPR, individuals have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port their personal data. Guests should direct requests to the restaurant that collected their data in the first instance. Restaurants can view, update, and delete guest records directly from the Dinora admin dashboard. Where Versolix has direct obligations, requests can be submitted to dinora@versolix.fi.
Guest reservation and profile data is retained for the duration of the restaurant's active subscription. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed or anonymised within a reasonable period. Restaurants may export their full guest database at any time from the admin dashboard before closing their account.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) — for example, to Twilio's infrastructure — such transfers are carried out under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR Chapter V.
In the event of a personal data breach, Versolix will notify affected restaurants without undue delay and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
